Busy times ahead

I am posting again from the Law library. I am attempting to do some more work on the moot. We just had a meeting with our coach, and she said what we all wanted to hear, that we are on the right track. What a relief. I knew things were going well, it was just nice to hear it from someone else. So now we have to do a little bit more research and get down to the nitty-gritty of actually writing the thing. I know where my weekend will be spent.

Actually, as far as weekends, and the rest of the week goes, this is a rather busy time. I have soccer tonight at 8. Then I am getting up early tomorrow morning (7:30, ugh) to go to a breakfast speech by J.P. Barry. He's an NHL player agent. He's one of the guys that snuck Evgeni Malkin out of Russia last summer. I am really looking forward to hearing him speak, since becoming involved in the sports law business is one of the reasons I am here at law school. I may or may not choose to pursue it, but it'll be interesting to get some first hand insight into the business. After that's over tomorrow I imagine I'll be spending a nice chunk of the day on the moot. I am volunteering at the CBA meeting on Saturday morning at 8:00, which may turn out to be a big mistake, two early mornings in a row. Then I assume I'll be working on the moot again, followed by Tournament of Champions ball hockey in the afternoon and maybe Legal Rites that night (aka Ludlow talent show).

The next few days after that will be a blur of factum writing, practice benches, and property study. But it'll all be ok next Thursday when Laurie gets here! :) I am really looking forward to a bit of a break while she's here.

But, I should get back at it for another while. Too much to be at.
